A minor program is a set of requirements that related to an area or scope of study outside the general framework of a student’s degree program. Students who wish to declare a minor program should obtain approval from the major department and the minor program offering department/ school/ AIS. Successful completion of minor program will be recorded on the academic transcript.
In general, to have the completion of minor program recorded on the academic transcript, students should submit the Application for Undergraduate Minor Program (Form RR-37) no later than the last day of add/drop period in the first regular term of the final year of study. The same form is used for students who apply for withdrawal from the minor program.
Enrollment period and program requirements may be varied in different programs, students are advised to refer to the program offering department website and the Program Catalog for details.

The above schedule of effective term also applies to the withdrawal of minor program. Final year students who wish to declare a minor program should note that 'final year' means the final year of study within the normal duration of study. The extended regular term(s) is not regarded as within the normal duration.
