Immigration Arrangements for Non-local Graduates (IANG)

The Immigration Arrangements for Non-local Graduates (IANG) provide a pathway for eligible non-local graduates to stay/return and work in Hong Kong.

Eligibility for IANG

Applicants who are/were non-local students and have obtained an undergraduate or higher qualification in a full-time and locally-accredited program in Hong Kong may apply under IANG.

For the purpose of IANG, the Hong Kong Immigration Department defines non-local students as persons entering the HKSAR for the purpose of education with a student visa / entry permit issued by the Director of Immigration.

Students who undertake their studies in Hong Kong while holding other types of visas (e.g. dependent visa, IANG, Top Talent Pass Scheme, etc.) should consult the Hong Kong Immigration Department directly regarding their eligibility for IANG.

Applications for IANG should be submitted directly to the Hong Kong Immigration Department together with the required supporting documents, including the Award Certification Letter issued by the Academic Registry.
