Students should submit their application for extension of stay, together with all required supporting documents (including the latest testimonial issued by the Academic Registry), to the Hong Kong Immigration Department within 4 weeks before the expiry of their current student visa.
Applicants must be physically present in Hong Kong at the time of applying for the extension of stay. For enquiries, you may contact the Immigration Department at enquiry@immd.gov.hk.

If you are unable to physically stay in Hong Kong at the time of your visa extension, you should submit your student visa renewal application through the University at least 2 months prior to your intended return to Hong Kong to resume your studies.
