Students who require immigration permission to study in Hong Kong are reminded to monitor the validity of their visa or relevant immigration documents, including but not limited to student visas, dependent visas, IANG or employment visas (for part-time students) that permit study in Hong Kong.  Students must take timely action to ensure continued compliance with the Hong Kong immigration requirements applicable to their status.

As a general rule, individuals who do not have the right of abode or right to land in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region are required to obtain an appropriate visa or entry permit to pursue studies. For details, please refer to the website of the Hong Kong Immigration Department.

Students are responsible for maintaining valid immigration status throughout their period of study. Failure to maintain a valid visa may result in the suspension of the student record upon expiry of the current visa, in accordance with University policies.
