Class enrollment of undergraduate students is processed through the web-based Student Information System (SIS).  The main system functions include the following:

• Students can view their own class timetable,

• Students can submit class choices, confirm their places or/and make changes before the add/drop deadline,

• In case of over-subscription of classes, students can be put on the system-automated waiting list for class space,

• In case students require special approval from the faculty member/academic department for enrollment, requests can be submitted through the system.

Registered students can access the SIS via "Student Intranet" at https://hkust.edu.hk/stu_intranet/ at any time as long as they have internet access.
