About this Guide:

Class enrollment of undergraduate students is processed with the web-based Student Information System (SIS).  The main system functions include the following:

  • Students can view their own class timetable

  • Students can submit class choices, confirm their places or/and make changes before the add/drop deadline

  • In case of over-subscription of classes, they can be put on the system-automated waiting list for class space

  • In case students require special approval from the faculty member/academic department for enrollment, requests can be submitted through the system


Registered students can access the SIS via "Student Intranet" at https://hkust.edu.hk/stu_intranet/ at any point that has access to the internet.
