Class number is a unique number (usually with 4 digits) for each class in an academic term. It is used by the system to identify the class. Different sessions of the same course carry different class numbers. In the following examples, class numbers of ACCT2010-L1 and PHYS1001-T1 are 1001 and 3340 respectively.
