How to check for the pre-requisite of a course in Student Center?

You can go to “Search” then “browse course catalog” and see the Course Detail there. Alternatively, you can search the class by the “Search for classes” function. In the “Search Result”, click on the “Section” link of the course, it will bring you to the "Class Detail" page and you can find the pre-requisite information in "Course Information" section.
